22% is such an amazing and functional outlet for people who want to give back but just do not know where it is needed. It is so simple to find an organization that you believe in. I feel very fortunate to have a website like this one where I can rest assured that my donation is going where it is needed and where I intended. Look. Learn. Do. It is really is as simple as that.

Project Description

Learn to Readís mission is to increase literacy awareness and improve adult literacy skills in the Jacksonville area through a volunteer-based reading program. Since 1969, Learn to Read Jacksonville has served adults 18-years of age and older in Northeast Florida who read below the ninth grade level and aspire to learn how to read or improve their reading skills.
Over 650 adults in the community utilize Learn to Read services every year in order to achieve the common goals of getting a GED, becoming more employable, and helping their children with homework. Learn to Read offers students free instruction in reading, language, and math through one-on-one, small group, and computer assisted learning environments. This project would support the purchase of consumable workbooks for low income adult learners to use during our Summer 2015 semester.
