Project Description

Neighbor To Family, Inc. is an accredited, evidence-based sibling foster care program serving the local community in Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, and Clay counties. With a mission of keeping siblings together while building healthier families and stronger communities NTF-Jacksonville strengthens the local communities it serves by recruiting professional foster caregivers, providing dependency case management, therapeutic services, and facilitating evidence-based nurturing parenting services to the clients it serves. Each service and program is unique in helping the sibling bonds to remain intact and family relationships to heal.

Children in foster care have experienced a significant amount of trauma in the form of abuse and neglect, which can be permanently damaging to their development. At Neighbor to Family we work to make sure the children in our care are provided with stable environments that provide all they need. Often our Foster Families are in need of extra supplies to prepare their homes for new children coming in. This project will help supplement those costs, by providing funds to buy the extra items needed to ensure each child has everything they need while in the foster home.
