103% is such an amazing and functional outlet for people who want to give back but just do not know where it is needed. It is so simple to find an organization that you believe in. I feel very fortunate to have a website like this one where I can rest assured that my donation is going where it is needed and where I intended. Look. Learn. Do. It is really is as simple as that.

Project Description

Domestic violence changes lives every year in our community. Not only does domestic violence kill, it robs families of peace of mind and security. Domestic violence has no criteria of race, age, religion, economics, or zip code. Domestic violence does not just affect individual families; the impact of this epidemic can be felt throughout the community in increased violence in our schools, work places and neighborhoods. By protecting the victims of domestic abuse from additional violence and educating them about how they can attain a violence-free future for their families, Hubbard House is helping to decrease violence in Jacksonville.

All Hubbard House program offerings, whether aimed at prevention or intervention, contribute toward the agency's mission: Every Relationship Violence-Free.

It costs $25 a day to provide safe shelter. It is our goal to provide safe shelter and life saving services to more than 1,000 victims of domestic violence and their children this year.
