Project Description

We are a small school for children in grades 2-8 with special needs: dyslexia, severe ADD, sensory processing issues, and communication differences.

Our kids come to us feeling defeated and incapable. Traditional school (even special education settings) have failed them, so we do everything we can to glue back the pieces of their broken confidence. To start, we place them in reading and math classes based on mastery level rather than grade level, creating an individual education plan for every student. This allows them to master content at their own pace. Then we immerse them in multisensory teaching and experiences—there’s no passive learning here.

We are a needs-based private school, so almost everyone attends on scholarship, and our parents rely on us to provide an outstanding school without raising costs.

Because of this, we need help purchasing 6 new Lenovo Wireless laptops with headphones to build a media center, and make our lessons come alive in brilliant color and sound. Would you consider helping our kids? The laptops are $300 per laptop on amazon. I figured we should be consistent. The headphones are $15 each.

Every donation is helpful, no matter how small!
