44% is such an amazing and functional outlet for people who want to give back but just do not know where it is needed. It is so simple to find an organization that you believe in. I feel very fortunate to have a website like this one where I can rest assured that my donation is going where it is needed and where I intended. Look. Learn. Do. It is really is as simple as that.

Project Description

Ky-mani Bell started life in a tough neighborhood and struggled in school. He joined the Sanctuary on 8th Streetís after school program in 2008 where he was identified as a bright, capable student who, like so many in our underserved communities, just needed a chance. When the Sanctuary staff presented an opportunity to attend Boys Town, a residential youth education program in Omaha, NE Ky-mani and his family felt it was just the change he needed. During his senior year he served as vice mayor for Boys Town, graduated with a 3.6 GPA, and was an integral part of the basketball, football, and track teams. Ky-mani has blossomed into a well-rounded young man and is ready to continue his education this fall at Midland University in Fremont, NE where he has been offered a partial scholarship to play football. The Sanctuary continues to be committed to Ky-maniís success and is seeking donations to close the tuition gap. A generous donor has committed a matching gift of up to $2,500. Will you be part of continuing Ky-maniís journey?
