Project Description

Many veterans are frustrated by the lack of opportunities accessible to them after they transition from the military. While experienced, skilled, and educated, veterans have a difficult time communicating the valuable impact they can make on the business community. Having traveled a non-traditional path relative to most prospective employees, veterans have a gap in understanding how to market themselves and be successful in a non-military culture. At Operation New Uniform, we understand and address these barriers to employment in a team environment built by a strong infrastructure of successful professionals. ONUís mission is to train veterans for fulfilling careers and develop their skills as they grow within an organization. We offer development programs, resources, and professional networks in our pursuit of the professional success for the veterans we serve. In 2016, 96% of ONU Veterans received fulfilling careers.

This project will provide all of the materials our veterans need for the next year to make their career searches successful. By giving to this project, you are helping a veteran obtain a career and provide for their family.
